EDC London - Festival Style

 
Hello everyone :) Last weekend we were at the Electric Daisy Carnival in London as a team, and we captured some photos to show you the festival style.

Firstly I would like to tell you about the festival. EDC was made in United States every year before this, and it was in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, this year for the first time. It was an absolutely great organization. The only problem was that the carnival came to an end at 23:00 because of the noise curfew. But I am sure every  person that participated was full up with fun, dance and electronic music. And now, it is time for the trends and most prominent types of clothing!

Hepinize merhaba:) Geçtiğimz hafta sonu ekip olarak Londra'daki Electronic Daisy Carnival'daydık ve tabi ki  sizin için festival stillerini görüntülemeyi ihmal etmedik. Ama öncelikle festivalden bahsetmek istiyorum biraz. EDC daha önce Amerika'da her yıl düzenleniyordu ve bu yıl da ilk defa olarak Londra'da olimpiyat parkında yapıldı. Böyle büyük bir organizasyonu oldukça başarılı bir şekilde gerçekleştirdiler. Tek sorun ses yasağı nedeniyle festivalin 23'de bitmesiydi bence. Ama eminim ki katılan herkes eğlenceye, dansa ve  müziğe doymuştur. Sizi daha fazla bekletmeden en çok neler giyilmiş, hangi trend öne çıkmış hemen açıklamaya başlıyorum.





First, I need say that it was a really colourful festival in all means. Stylish and funny sunglasses were certainly the #1 accesories of the festival. One of the trends of this year, crop tops, were really high in number. Especially there were many people that combined crop tops with high waisted jean shorts. And one other trend, lace, was used a lot on crop tops. If we need to speak about colors, neon colors were used a lot, as one would expect. Especially, neon orange was the most prominent one. Other than shorts and crop tops, dress and short jumpsuits were among the most worn clothing. Again, we saw many clothing with ethnic and floral patterns, two of the trends of this year. One unique trend we saw a lot was frill socks. There were many people that we saw who wore frill socks with Converses and other kinds of sports shoes.

Öncelikle şunu söylemeliyim ki tam anlamıyla rengarenk bir festivaldi. Renkli ve eğlenceli gözlükler kesinlikle festivalin 1 numaralı aksesuarlarıydı. Bu yılın trendlerinden crop toplar ise  festivale damga vuran kıyafetlerdi. Özellikle crop topları yüksek bel kot şortlarla giyenlerin sayısı çok ama çok fazlaydı. Yine bir diğer trend olan dantel de crop top olarak oldukça fazla tercih edilmişti. Renk olarak ise tabi ki neon renkler sıkça kullanılmıştı. Özellikle neon turuncu bunlar arasından öne çıkan renkti. Şort ve crop top dışında elbiseler ve kısa tulumlar da en çok tercih edilen kıyafetler arasındaydı. Yine bu yılın trendlerinden olan etnik ve floral desenler de festivalde bol bol gördük. En farklı trend ise ilk okulda giydiğimiz fırfırlı çoraplardı. Conversele veya diğer spor ayakkabıların içine fırfırlı çorap giyip gelen oldukça fazla kişi gördük.

When we look at men's style, we get a monotonic festival style. Men mostly preferred vests and different colors of chino shorts. And of course there were many guys who -as usually expected- wore t-shirts and shorts.

Erkek stiline göz attığımızda ise daha tekdüze bir festival stili karşımıza çıkıyor. Erkekler genelde atlet ve farklı renklerde kumaş şort giyinmeyi tercih etmişti. Tabi ki klasik olarak tişört ve şort giyenler de yine oldukça çoktu.
