Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2014 Collection

 

For Michael Kors’ pre-fall 2014 collection, the American designer focused on tomboy chic in an outing which Kors dubbed “Transeasonal”. The dressing is suited for a relaxed and elegant outing with staples such as oversized outerwear, menswear inspired dress shirts and slouchy trousers. Kors shows it isn’t all about daytime, however, when it comes to more dressy elements like pleated skirts, and embroidered pieces for evening. Accessories for pre-fall are more sensible with briefcase satchels and Kors’ own take on the sneaker.

Rahat ve zarif bir görünüm sunan koleksiyonda oversize üstler, maskülen ceket elbiseler ve salaş pantolonlar var. Kors gündelik kullanım dışına da pileli etekler ve işlemeli parçalar ile çıkmış bu koleksiyonda. Aksesuarlarda ise evrak çantaları ve Kors'un yorumladığı sneakerları görüyoruz.

 

 

Alexa Chung Releases Her Fashion Label in 2014

Alexa Chung hopes to release her debut fashion label in 2014. Of course, this isn't the first time that Chung has turned her hand to design - she teamed up with American store Madewell in 2010. She has also collaborated with beauty brand Eyeko, and fronted campaigns for Maje, Superga, Lacoste and L'Oréal. This year also saw her release her debut book,It.

"I need some time to think about it!" Chung said of the collection. "That's [2014] going to be the first opportunity where I haven't had a nine-to-five job… I've kind of been doing Eyeko, I wrote a book, I did Fuse every day, and various other design gigs and DJing. So this will be the first time to actually sort of sit down and think about it."

Alexa Chung ilk moda markasını 2014'te çıkarmayı umuyor. Tabi ki bu Chung'ın tasarıma girdiği ilk iş değil, 2010'da Amerikalı mağaza Madewell ile ve kozmetik markası Eyeko ile işbirliklerinde bulunmuş; Maje, Superga, Lacoste ve L'Oréal'in marka yüzü olmuştu. Bu sene ayrıca kendi kitabı "It"i çıkarmıştı.

Trend - Boyfriend Coats

One of the most prominent trends of this winter is boyfriend coats. These coats that look like they are oversize are very loved by fashionistas, I see these on many people. I really like these coats when they are combined with chelsea boots and cut out boots which are two of the other trends of this season. They look beatiful also with boyfriend jeans in my opinion. Other than these, they are mostly worn with beanies as accesories. Actually, they have a style that not everyone could be brave to wear them. Even though I do not prefer them, I find them very cool when they are combined right. What do you think about this trend? I await your comments ;)

Bu kışın en öne çıkan trendlerinden biri de Boyfriend paltolar. Üstünüzde bir kaç beden büyük duran bu paltolar moda tutkunları tarafından çok sevilmiş gibi, oldukça fazla kişide görüyorum ben bu paltoları. Yine sezon trendlerinden olan chelsea botlar ve cut out botlarla kombinlenince beğeniyorum bu paltoları. Boyfriend jeanlerle de yine güzel duruyorlar bence. Bunlar dışında genelde bereler aksesuar olarak kullanılıyo bu paltolarla. Açıkçası herkesin giymeye cesaret edemeyeceği bir tarzları var. Ben de giymeyi tercih etmesem de doğru kombinlenince çok havalı buluyorum bu paltoları. Peki siz ne düşünüyorsunuz bu trend hakkında? Yorumları bekliyorum;)

I want to start with Kesha. She used her style with her hair as always. Unfortunately I did not like her dress. The detail on her waist looks terrible. It would make a great difference if this was a simpler dress.

Neden Serra Kefeli değil de Kith & Kin’i kullanıyorsunuz marka ismi olarak?

Kith & Kin’in bir anlamı var, birlikte olmak, aile olmak, aynı ruhu hissetmek gibi. Bu kıyafeti giyen kadınlar bu ruhu hisseder gibi. Kıyafetlere daha fazla anlam yüklediğini hissediyorum bu ismin. Pantolonda kendi adımı görmek garip geliyor, ben marka ismi, logosu olmasını, bir şekli olmasını tercih ederim.

This season, I think there were 2 highly successful presentations in all fashion weeks. One of them is the presentation by Orla Kiely in London Fashion Week, and the other is the presentation of Kith & Kin in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul. I really like this kind of this presentations, make sure you watch it!

Tuvana Buyukcinar has done a great job with this collection that mostly has satin and lace. It was one of the collections that I liked most.

I liked the collection of Gul Agis under the brand name of Lug Von Siga much. I had the opportunity to know this great designer thanks to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Istanbul.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul 2013 - Cengiz Abazoglu

Orange, brown and blue were prominent in the designs of Cengiz Abazoglu. Actually I haven't see a unique collection in terms of models. We saw a typical Abazoglu runway show. However, I found it successful as always.

Cengiz Abazoglu'nun tasarımlarında turuncu, kahverengi ve mavi ön plandaydı. Açıkçası çok farklı bir koleksiyon göremedim modeller açısından. Klasik bir Abazoglu defilesi izlemiş olduk. Yine de her zamanki gibi koleksiyonunu başarılı buldum diyebilirim.
